Nugent Contracting came into existence in 2000 as a small, family and veteran-owned business focusing on providing superior service to a few locations in Georgia. Though it started as a weekend side operation, Nugent Contracting has grown drastically as consumers have recognized good service. In the last 20 years Nugent Contracting has moved from its small consumer base in Georgia to supporting a variety of customers throughout the southeastern United States. Headquarters are currently located in Columbia, South Carolina. Starting from the ground up, the owner Donald Nugent has grown Nugent Contracting from a team of one to a team of multiple crews moving throughout the Southeast to provide above and beyond service.

Donald Nugent is a proud combat veteran, serving in Operation Desert Thunder and Operation Joint Endeavor. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Organizational Management from American Public University. Donald has pulled in experiences from his time in the military, educational experiences, and outside work experiences to better Nugent Contracting as a whole.
